Luís Carlos Almeida da Cunha, better known simply as Nani, is a Portugese midfielder who currently plays for Manchester United of the Barclays Premiership and the Portugese national team. He is commonly played as a left winger in favour of the older Ryan Giggs because of his pace and ability he has with the ball at his feet, but he is capable of playing on the right if required. It is these strengths which always makes him a threat when Manchester United are on the attack and because of his pace and dribbling attributes, it can sometimes be no problem getting past sluggish defenders. More suited to being a winger, but he can easily be as effective when played upfront or just behind the strikers in an AMC role, although he can sometimes be at fault for missing good chances as his finishing lets him down slightly.
