Born in Sollihul, England Matt Murray spend his youth days playing for non - league side Kingstonian. After joining the Wolverhampton Wanderers youth academy, he was promoted into the first team in August 2002. Deputising against Wimbledon on behalf of Michael Oakes (Injury). The highlight of his career being his man of the match perfomance in the play-off final of May 2003.
