Fabio Aurelio is a left back who plays for Liverpool; an English club in the Barclays Premiership. He plays occasionally for Brazil's national team. At Liverpool, in real life and on Fifa, Fabio is Liverpool's first choice left back despite his injury-plagued career. He joined from Valenica on a free transfer having previously worked under manager Rafael Benitez.

At the start of the 08-09 season, Aurelio's place in the Liverpool side was in serious doubt after Benitez had spent around £7 million on Andrea Dossena from Udinese, and also from young emerging star Emiliano Insua. However Dossena has struggled with life on England so Aurelio still remains number 1 left back if fit.
