England are a European based International team in the FIFA games and are rated 5 stars in FIFA 09. With their array of talent and some of the Premier League's best players at their disposal, England can be a difficult team to beat, and anyone who plays as them will more often than not have any advantage. Their most notable players are John Terry, Rio Ferdinand, Steven Gerrard, Frank Lampard, David Beckham and Wayne Rooney. Their defense is pretty solid, and with Terry and Ferdinand in the heart of defense, they have two of best central defenders on the game, and breaking them down could prove tricky. With Steven Gerrard, Lampard and Beckham in the midfield, they have experience, great passers of the ball, and a set-piece expert in David Beckham. Leading the attack is one of the best strikers on FIFA 09 in Manchester United star; Wayne Rooney. His pace and deadly finishing will undoubtedly be the difference between winning and losing, as he can sometimes single handedly win games.
