Edwin Van der Sar is a Dutch footballer who is first choice goalkeeper for Manchester United of the Barclays Premiership. Van Der Sar is rated very highly and is seen by many as one of the best goalkeepers on FIFA 09 due to his superb shot stopping and the condidence he brings when he is inbetween the posts. A fantastic 'keeper, he is an asset to any team and will more often than not be the difference between the team keeping a clean sheet and not. However, with him getting on a bit in terms of his age, he won't last forever, so it's imperitive that a suitable replacement is brought in.
