David Beckham currently plays for and captains LA Galaxy and is also an England international. He also earned his 100th cap against France in March 2008. He has twice been runner up for FIFA World Player of The Year. Beckham was captain of England from 15 November 2000 to 2 July 2006. He started his career and after winning many trophies in a 10 year spell, he moved to Real Madrid for four years winning the La Liga once. He then moved to Major League Soccer's LA Galaxy which was criticized by many pundits.

He has so far appeared in every FIFA game except the EURO 2008 game. He is also likely to appear in the upcoming game FIFA 09 playing for LA Galaxy. On Fifa 09 his crossing skills are one of the best in the game. He can be a bargain at around 5 million, but the problem is his salary and that he retires very soon into the game.
