Darren Bent is an England international striker who currently plays for Sunderland of the Barclays Premier League after joining from Tottenham Hotspur in the summer of 2009. Bent experienced little playing time at Spurs, with the likes of Jermain Defoe, Robbie Keane and Roman Pavlyuchenko ahead of him. Bent has previously experienced prolific spells at Ipswich Town and Charlton Athletic before his move to Spurs. Bent has enjoyed a superb start to his career at Sunderland, and has scored 13 goals in 20 league appearances.

In FIFA 10, Bent should be played alongside Kenwyne Jones, as they work superbly together and should grab a lot of goals for you. Under no circumstances should Bent be sold in the first few seasons, as he is integral to the Sunderland side. You should only consider selling him when he becomes older and begins to lose his pace and other main atrributes.
