Ben Foster is an English goalkeeper who currently plays for Manchester United of the Barclays Premiership. He is the 3rd choice goalkeeper behind Edwin Van Der Sar and Tomasz Kuszczak.

Foster on FIFA 09 is a player for the future and giving him a chance early on during his career can only do good. He can pluck balls out of the air with ease and can generally deal with long range shots. However, he sometimes resorts to tipping the ball over the bar rather than holding onto it and his kicking isn't the greatest either. But as his career progresses, these weaknesses will certainly improve, and he will eventually mature into a very good goalkeeper.
