Alvaro Arbeloa currently plays for Real Madrid in the Spanish First Division. In 2007, he joined Liverpool from Spain side Deportivo for a fee of around £3million. In the summer of 2009 Arbeloa completed his return to Real Madrid.

Alvaro is mainly a right back, however due to his vertatility has played across the back line. Alvaro had cemented his place as Liverpool's first choice right back during the 08-09 season. He appeared for Liverpool 66 times and scored 2 times in his two and a half years at Anfield.
